Volunteering your time is a great way to learn new skills, make new friends and have fun helping a great cause.
Do you have an interest in local or naval history or enjoy arts and crafts? Are you a keen researcher or just have a little time to give? Here at the National Museum of the Royal Navy we value and appreciate the commitment our volunteers can offer in assisting with our development.
Our volunteering opportunities are extremely varied, ranging from working with our Curatorial Department researching and conserving artefacts, to helping open up the wonders of Museums to new audiences (including schools, colleges and universities) with our Learning Department.
If you want to give something back, take part in your heritage, and be part of something that protects and promotes the rich history of the Royal Navy and its people, then why not become a volunteer at the National Museum of the Royal Navy.
